✦ Neighbourhood Patrol

A local, watching out for your street.

A trusted neighbour drives your area on a regular schedule — one or more times a day — and logs what they see: a loose dog by the school, speeders on your street, a parcel at your door, an all-clear on a quiet evening. You get their read on the neighbourhood every pass, plus your own private Home View of your property. Your first week is on us — see if a patrol already covers your street.

Dashcam video is AI-redacted — faces and plates blurred — before it ever surfaces. Your home's exterior history is visible only to you, the verified owner. How we protect everyone →

What you get

A trusted local's read on your street — plus your home's private history.

A local's read, every pass

Real observations from someone who drives your street daily — a loose dog near the school, speeders on your block, deer at dusk, an all-clear on a quiet night. Not a feed of strangers: the actual conditions on your street.

Your own Home View

Subscribing unlocks your DriveByView Home View — a dated street-view log of how your own place looks from the road, over time. Visible only to you, the verified owner. Neighbours can't look it up, and neither can the driver.

Ask for what you need

Set a time-of-day preference — say you'd rather see evening passes. Away for the week? Request an extra pass. Want the back alley checked, or your street on the evening drive? Tip for a special trip and your patroller makes it happen.

Simple pricing

Choose how closely your street is watched.

Three plans — from audio-only eyes on the neighbourhood to a nightly video drive-by of your home.

Illustrative launch pricing. Availability depends on a patroller covering your street — check your area. Prefer a specific time, an extra pass, or a special check? Set a time-of-day preference and tip your patroller for special trips.

How it works

Someone who knows your street is already driving it.

  1. A patroller covers your area

A vetted local drives your neighbourhood on a regular schedule — the range they cover and roughly when, so you know what to expect. The exact route varies day to day.

  2. They log what they see

One tap logs an observation; the dashcam captures it too, AI-redacted so faces and plates are blurred before anything surfaces. Only what the patroller chooses to note ever appears.

  3. You get the feed & your Home View

Subscribe and you see your patroller's read on the neighbourhood every pass — plus your own private, dated Home View of your property.

  4. Request & tip for more

Prefer evenings? Need an extra pass or a specific check? Set your preference or tip for a special trip — it goes straight to your patroller.

Try it free for a week

Start your free week — a set of eyes on your street.

Tell us where you are and we'll check for a patrol already covering your area. If one's driving your street, your first week is on us — no charge, cancel anytime.

Please add your name.
Please enter your address so we can check your area.
Please add a cell number — we text your access code.
You'll show proof of residence to start. Because your Home View is owner-only, we verify you live at the address — a scan of your cable or phone bill, or a photo ID showing your address. (Nothing unlocks until it's verified.)

Free for 7 days, then your chosen plan. Cancel anytime. We only use your details to set up and verify your patrol.

Demo: an address containing "Lyon Estates", "Hill Valley", "Riverside", or "Maple" shows the covered state; anything else joins the waitlist.

Your controls, as a subscriber

You're in charge of how your street is seen.

A patrol should earn your trust, not test it. So the controls sit with you — not just with the patroller, and not just with us.

Only what the patroller logs

This isn't an always-on feed. You only ever see something when your patroller chooses to log it — a deliberate note about the street, not a live camera pointed at it. And every clip is AI-redacted before it posts.

Dispute or remove any note

See a note you don't think belongs — about your place or anyone's? Flag it. Ask the patroller to take it down, and if that doesn't settle it, escalate straight to DriveByView to remove it.

Request a video blackout for your home

With proof of ID and address, you can black out the street video of your own property. The patroller can still flag a real issue out front with a note — and audio, if you allow it — but the video of your home stays private.

Only you see your own home

Here's what most people love: your home's exterior history — how your place looks from the road over time — is visible only to you, the verified owner. Your neighbours can't look it up, and neither can the patroller.

The neighbourhood map

Your patroller's observations and redacted dashcam land on a shared community map. Click your home to check coverage and subscribe, and your own dated Home View unlocks — visible only to you.

Common questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

How is this different from a neighbourhood watch?
Same spirit — but consistent, and with a dated record. A real person drives your street on a schedule and logs what they see, redacted, so you get a reliable read every pass instead of the occasional heads-up. And subscribing gives you your own private Home View on top.
Is the video private?
Yes. Every dashcam clip is AI-redacted — faces and plates blurred — before it surfaces, including in the patroller's own feed. Your home's exterior history is visible only to you, after we verify you own the address. You can also dispute any note, or request a video blackout for your property.
What if there's no patrol on my street yet?
Request one above — we'll add you to the list and let you know the moment a patroller covers your area. Requests also tell us where demand is, so we can bring patrollers to new neighbourhoods. Or start one yourself and earn from it.
Can I ask for specific times or extra passes?
Absolutely. Set a time-of-day preference — say you'd rather see evening passes — and tip for special trips, like an extra pass while you're away or a check of the back alley. Special requests go straight to your patroller.
Who can see my home?
Only you. Your home's exterior history is owner-only — neighbours can't look it up, and neither can the patroller. The patroller's public feed is about the street's conditions (a loose dog, a hazard, a speeder), not about any home in particular.
